About Us
Thorpe & Brown, established in 2012, was set up by Jo Thorpe - a Jewellery Designer & Goldsmith with over 20 years experience, and a passion for creating personal & specially crafted jewellery.
We have a design studio, workshop & showroom in the heart of a conservation area in the beautiful village of Burbage, Leicestershire.
We are open to the public on Wednesday to Saturday from 9.30am until 5pm for appointments, drop ins & browsing.
The rest of the week we work behind the scenes, but we are available to call or email.
Meet the Designer
Jo Thorpe is a designer & goldsmith with over 15 years experience. Having trained at the Birmingham School of Jewellery, Jo has worked in jewellery insurance, retail and design, before opening her shop in 2012.
Thorpe & Brown (both Jo's family names) has found it's forever home at 60 Church Street in Burbage, where Jo was born & bred.
Jo's designs are influenced by her travels, and her passion is remodelling & bespoke commissions. Creating designs that are meaningful and unique.
